On September 25, 2020, Holborn’s Dan Zitelli, co-head of Cat Modeling and employee since 1998, was awarded the CAS (Casualty Actuarial Society) Institute’s CCRMP credential. As noted by the CAS Institute, the CCRMP credential (issued in conjunction with the International Society of Catastrophe Managers (ISCM)), is a reflection of a cat modeling specialist’s ability to demonstrate their unique knowledge in modeling risk associated with hazards resulting from hurricanes, earthquakes, terrorism, and other types of casualty events. The CCRMP credential was established in 2018 in recognition of the competence of the catastrophe risk professional as experienced practitioners in the field. Holborn’s Dan Zitelli joins the less than 100 insurance industry professionals to have achieved this credential to date.
