NEW YORK, November 28, 2017 — Holborn Corporation (Holborn), a U.S.-based independent reinsurance broker, announced today that its Board has elected Adam Manus, 46, to the position of President and Chief Brokerage Officer, effective immediately. Adam is based in the firm’s office in New York City. Frank Harrison, 58, will continue in his role as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board.
Mr. Manus has been an instrumental member of Holborn’s team, previously serving as Executive Vice President where he focused on leading client relations, production and served as head of analytics. He was also Chair of the firm’s Franchise Operating Committee, where he helped steer strategic planning. Joining the firm in 1993, Mr. Manus’ tenure with Holborn spans more than two decades.
Mr. Harrison said, “Holborn’s success as an independent reinsurance firm has been due to our commitment to teamwork and client service, and no individual embodies these principles like Adam. For nearly 25 years, Adam has been a dedicated leader and client service practitioner. He has vast understanding of our role in the market and our unique position as an advocate and true partner for our clients. Mr. Manus graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Hamilton College, with a B.A. in Economics. He earned an M.B.A. at New York University’s Stern School of Business, and is an Associate in Reinsurance. He is a board member of the New York Road Runners and has been active with the organization for nearly two decades.
