Holborn Corporation to Present Monday October 8, 10:06 am ET

OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE) - Representatives of Holborn Corporation's "Eye in the Sky" will present their project to judges via Webinar on Wednesday, October 10, at 11 a.m. EDT, the second of five finalist presentations for the 2007 E-Fusion Award. The award, organized by the A.M. Best Company, is a judged competition that highlights outstanding, resourceful use of technology as applied to business strategy in the insurance industry.

Holborn, an independent reinsurance brokerage firm, created "Eye in the Sky," a Web-based management information application, to provide clients with easy access to their exposure data in graphical and analytical formats. Originally, the intended audience was insurance company senior management, reinsurance buyers and risk managers. That audience has expanded to include line underwriters, claims personnel and marketing professionals as clients have used the product and discovered additional functionality. Those interested in watching Holborn's presentation can register at no cost at https://www.gotomeeting.com/register/918581828.

E-Fusion Award finalists will participate in Webinars, set for successive Wednesdays in October, to explain their projects through online exhibits, and will interact with judges by phone. The public can watch the presentations from their desktops and listen in by phone. Local toll call charges for listening to the presentations may apply. The E-Fusion Award recipient will be announced in November.

Judges for the E-Fusion Award include

William Jenkins, CIO of Penn National Insurance;

Steve Landberg, Managing Director at Claymore Partners LLC;

John Pogas, Vice President, e-Commerce at Aon Corp.;

Pat Saporito, Director, Insurance Solutions at Business Objects; and

Michael T. Wise, Vice President, Insurance Technologies at IdeaStar Inc.
