Dan Bilot joined Holborn in 2011 as Senior Vice President, and is based in the Minneapolis office. He began his career in 1995 at E.W. Blanch focusing on property catastrophe business and was instrumental in the development of that firm’s proprietary catastrophe model, known as Catalyst. He then joined Collins in 2000, acquiring responsibility for technology development as well as founding and leading the firm’s Analytical Services area. More recently, he led Collins’ Property Practice Group, served on its Board of Directors and was a member of its Executive Committee. Effective with the April 2009 acquisition of Collins by Guy Carpenter, Mr. Bilot served as a managing director responsible for client and prospect integration, and led the firm’s Florida Strategy team.

Mr. Bilot attended the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and physics.
